fusca var yezoensis

Small, hairy, brown flowers tinged violet, densely covered in brown hairs. Whitish inside. According to Robin Savill, this form has much longer flower stalks than other fuscas, sometimes measuring 15cm. Native to Sakhalin and Hokkaido (formerly Yezo, hence the name).
