Small, nodding or drooping, bell-shaped, citrus-scented, flowers. Outside violet, inside white at base shading to purple at margins and tips. Filaments greenish white; anthers yellow. Fruit heads persistent. "Kahori" means "scent", "Kimi" is an honorific title in old-style Japanese.
