'Kanda-gawa'

Medium sized, deep pink flowers (from dense veining over pale ground) with a slightly bronze bar. Filaments and anthers pale yellow; connectives pale green.

The name means "Kanda River" in Japanese, and is named both after the river which crosses west to east through Tokyo and a popular folk song.
