Clematis 'Daniel Deronda'

Very large violet-blue flowers with a paler, bluer central bar. Early flowers may sometimes be semi-double. Creamy-yellow anthers. Named after the title character in the George Eliot novel of 1876. The variety has received the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit.
