Clematis x durandii

Medium to large, semi-nodding, deeply ribbed, violet-blue flowers which fade to a paler blue. Cream or yellow anthers. The variety has received the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit. Some authors give the parentage as integrifolia x 'Jackmanii' following comments made in 1907; these are now thought to be wrong.
