Clematis MON CHERRY 'Zomonch'

Small to medium sized, flowers, inside vivid reddish purple, shading to strong purple towards margins [ageing to light purple]; outside deep purplish pink, shading to strong purple towards margins and with greyish purple midribs. Filaments moderate purple at base, shading to dull grey-purple above and deep purplish red below anthers; connectives dark red; anthers pale red-purple. Buds dark, red-purple.

The raiser classifies this cultivar as a member of the Patens Group which the International Clematis Register and Checklist includes within the 'Early large-flowered group'.
