Tangutica/Tibetana type. Large lemon-yellow nodding flowers. A hybrid of C. tangutica subsp. obtusiuscula x C. tibetana subsp. vernayi, raised at the Boskoop Research Station, Holland. (Magnus Johnson in Slaktet Klematis has C. tangutica x C. tibetana subsp vernayi 'Orange Peel' - RG)
